The six-level progression below follows the CEFR framework used internationally for language proficiency. DELE general examinations also cover A1 through C2.

DELE is an official Spanish-language diploma awarded by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of Spain's Ministry of Education. General DELE examinations cover six levels from A1 to C2.
It depends on the level you want to reach, class frequency, previous language knowledge and how much Spanish you practise outside class. A fixed promise such as “fluency in three months” would not be realistic for every learner.
